Dearest Muse

This is one of the first poems I ever penned.

From the depths of the ocean I saw a dazzling light.

An unspeakable beauty, you sanctified my sight.

You bewitched and befuddled me and drove my senses awry,

and took my sanity with you and summoned my soul to cry.

Such splendour I have never seen and ne’er again shall I,

and you shall be my dearest muse until the day I die.
